Rumors are swirling that Tamar’s ex-husband, Vince Herbert, 47, may file for full custody of their 7-year-old son Logan Vincent Herbert.
The R&B Diva was staying with boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Los Angeles when the incident occurred.
He called 911, stating Tamar had been drinking and had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills.
The suicide attempt took place the same day emails were sent to the blogs promoting her new reality show “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!”.
A spokesperson for the Braxton Family Values star told The Blast: “Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day – more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her.”
Tamar was unsatisfied with contract negotiations with WE Tv for her new reality show. She reportedly had financial difficulties and she and David faced eviction from the Ritz residences over past due rent of $25,000 a month.

Tamar Braxton is alert and responsive and she has now been transferred to a new hospital facility where she can receive more specialized mental health treatment.

I feel that Tamar is selfish. It is always about her. Did she forget that she has a son. Was her feelings more important than leaving her son without a mother? Who is the one that supposedly molested/raped her for all those years? You mean to say that her mother never knew or that she allowed it to continue and never say anything until now? Were her sisters molested and raped too? Too far fetched to believe what she says. Her behavior is not rational.
